The IFRS Foundation today published the Japanese translation of the IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) Taxonomy 2010. This is a complete translation of the 2010 taxonomy label linkbases into Japanese. It is an official IFRS Foundation translation and was created using official terminology.

The 2010 taxonomy is being translated into a number of languages and the Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Spanish versions are already available. Other translations will be published over the coming months.

In order to provide further support to Japanese-speaking users of the IFRS Taxonomy, the IFRS Foundation has published the following support materials and tools using the 2010 Japanese label linkbases:

* The IFRS Taxonomy Illustrated – a document that presents the structure of the IFRS Taxonomy in a simplified, visual format that does not require knowledge of XBRL, available in both HTML and PDF format.
* The IFRS Taxonomy Modules Manager - an online tool that guides users through the process of navigating and customising the IFRS modules that make-up the IFRS Taxonomy.
