| MUMBAI: Indian bank loans rose 22 percent on the year as of April 8, the central bank's weekly statistical supplement (WSS) showed on Friday. Deposits were up 17.2 percent from a year earlier. Outstanding loans rose by 177.48 billion rupees to 39.56 trillion rupees in the two weeks to April 8. |
