3.    Notification for Amendments made under DVAT Act & Central Sales tax (Registration and Turnover) Amendment Rules,2010-Amendment in Rules 13. .

4.    MOST PRIORITY - The notification for amendments made under DVAT Act. 

Summary of such notification:

• Return form no. DVAT – 16 amended.
• Applicable on all returns filed after 17.03.2010
• To submit monthly detail of sales and purchase dealerwise – showing name, address, TIN and amount.
• Work Contract figures – Gross & Net Figures both to be mentioned in the return.

New Columns in return

1. Columns showing sales taxable @ 5% insertedb.      
2. Detail of High Seas Sales & Purchase to be submittedc.      
3. Reduction of input if goods are sold at price lower than purchase priced.      
4. Second and third instalment of balance tax credit on capital goodse.      
5. Opening Stockf.       
6. Closing Stock 

Note:  Although certain amendments proposed in DVAT (amendment) Act 2009 have not yet been notified yet column (b) to (e) has been inserted in the return form.  This shows the intentions of the government for an early notification of the balance sections of DVAT (amendment) Act,2009.
